This investigation aims to open, even more, a way to prevention. For that, we have intended to verify the knowledge that the MEC (the Spanish Science and Education Ministry) and the different Departments of Education of the Spanish Autonomous Regions have on this problem, as they are who propose and design the basic curricular contents of musical teachings. The study focused on the curriculum of more recent elaboration (Superior LOGSE) and whose population is more prone to work related illness due to the amount of hours that they should dedicate to their instrument. We have look for all the documents and official bulletins of the different Autonomous Regions in which the curriculum of the higher musicians education are defined. Employing Krippendorff contents analysis methodology the investigation looked at an average of 110 subjects influencing some 32 specialisations, to determine the extent of obligatory subjects relate to corporal health for music student. The study reveal serious lack of preventive education: 66 of examined auriculae failed to contain pertinent information to wind players, while an entire 92 did not provide any formal occupational health instruction to string, piano or percussion students. Often it is institutions which place more weight on preparation for teaching than on preparation for performance, when is in the instrumental speciality where more hours will be dedicated once studies ended. We have found four subjects whose contents are insufficient and not clear. Their distribution during the 4 courses in the different specialities is analysed. This survey can be used to an initiative to show to the competent authorities (mainly politics) the weight that is given in the music curriculum to the musicians' health, and relate it with the great amount of works that shows their affections. And finally, to show to the Departments of Education the importance that the health professionals must have in musicians' teaching-learning process, and that still remain obstacles to guarantee the health of the artist.
